Tokyo Medical And Dental University, Dental Hospital has been accredited by the Japanese Paralympic Committee (JPC) as a “JPC-recommended cooperating medical institution for medical checks.”
Our experienced dentists, who hold qualifications as JPSA-recognized disability sports physicians, Japanese Academy of Sports Dentistry-accredited physicians, technical mouthguard instructors, and Japan Sport Association-recognized sports assistants, will conduct medical dentistry checks on training athletes selected by JPC-affiliated sports associations. Our dentists will ensure that all athletes with disabilities who strive to compete at the international stage can healthily demonstrate their full potential.
Additionally, a Japan Anti-Doping Agency-accredited sports pharmacist with the latest anti-doping knowledge is employed in the pharmacy department of our hospital, and is available to respond to any questions or concerns.
