A Delegation of Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM) of Thailand Visits TMDU

On Thursday, April 27, 2023, eight faculty members from Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM), Thailand, led by Dr. Woranich Hinthong, Assistant Dean for Education and International Affairs, visited TMDU to exchange views on the future student and research exchanges and toured a laboratory.

Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM) and TMDU has been deepening relationship through various forms of cooperative activities, including the launch of an online international student exchange program between PSCM and the medical students of Faculty of Medicine, TMDU in January 2022, which requires participation by all students, and the signing of an agreement between the Faculty of Medicine in February 2022.

Four faculty members from TMDU attended the opinion exchange meeting, including the Professor Akita Director of School of Medicine, Professor Yamawaki, Professor Takata and Lecturer Hasegawa, and discussed the future online exchange of medical students from both schools, the duration and timing of the exchange program, and exchanged opinions to explore further possibilities for exchange. And based on the request from PSCM, TMDU also presented information on the status of sending and receiving students abroad.

After the exchange of opinions, Professor Akita Director of School of Medicine, led the group on a tour of the dissection room. As PSCM is currently constructing a new dissection room, a detailed exchange of opinions took place for its reference.

We hope that this visit will further promote the wide-ranging exchanges between the two universities.
