Professor Morio Named 2023 Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers

On 15 November 2023, Clarivate Plc announced this year's list of Highly Cited Researchers, including Professor Tomohiro Morio of the Department of Pediatrics and Developmental Biology, Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences.

Highly Cited Researchers are selected annually from across the globe based on the number of highly cited papers they produced over an 11-year period. The annual list is comprised of researchers recognized for authoring multiple papers that "rank in the top 1% by citations" in their fields, and only limited number of researchers with outstanding achievements are selected.

In 2023, a total of 6,849 Highly Cited Researchers were selected from over 67 countries and regions in 20 different categories, and Professor Morio was selected in the category of Immunology.
