Second Symposium of the Organ and Tissue Neogenesis Consortium held
As the Organ and Tissue Neogenesis Consortium will continue to work in collaboration with government, private enterprise, and research institutions to open new horizons for regenerative medicine, we hope for your continued support.
Professor Tomohiro Morio, director of the Organ and Tissue Neogenesis Consortium, introduced the activities of each unit of the consortium.
Professor Takanori Takebe gave a lecture, titled “Opening a Path to Next-Generation Medicine Using Mini-Organs”, about cutting-edge research using mini-organs (organoids).
Professor Emi K. Nishimura gave an interesting lecture, titled “Mysteries of Aging and Regeneration Solved Using Skin Stem Cells and Their Application”, about the mechanisms of aging and new approaches to aging control discovered through stem cell research.
