Misuse of TMDU's photo by the media
We have learned that photographic images of our university ("Tokyo Medical and Dental University") are being misused in articles by several media outlets（Japan Today, Financial Times, Newsweek）reporting the manipulation of entrance examination results for female applicants at "Tokyo Medical University."
We immediately contacted the relevant media outlets and pointed out the misuse of such photographic images of TMDU and demanded that they be removed. We deplore the misuse of all such photographic images that damage our university's reputation. We demand that all other media outlets that have misused photographic images of TMDU immediately delete those as well.
We sincerely hope that each mass-media company will pay careful attention to its use of photographic images in order to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
