Greeting from the Department Head

Greeting from the Department Head

Hello everyone,

My name is Masanao Inokoshi, and I have recently been appointed as a professor in the Department of Oral Devices and Materials.

The Department of Oral Devices and Materials is a newly established field as of 2024. We are responsible for the Oral Devices and Materials Division at the Oral Science Center, focusing on the development, evaluation, and societal implementation of dental devices and new dental and biomaterials. Our aim is to advance oral science research in collaboration not only with dentistry and medicine but also with the fields of science and engineering, other research institutions, companies, and international research organizations.

Drawing on my clinical experience in geriatric dentistry and prosthodontics, I am committed to advancing these research themes.

I look forward to your continued support and collaboration.
