2025年12月7日(日)東京科学大学大岡山キャンパスにおいて、日本補綴歯科学会東京支部会員の皆様と協賛企業様のご支援のおかげで、東京支部学術大会を無事開催することができました。
おかげさまで24演題、300名以上のご参加、20社を超える企業協賛をいただけました。

高齢者歯科学分野において，当分野のOBである平野滋三先生をお招きして治療計画の立案について講演をして頂きました。
ご講演は「欠損補綴の一つの考え方　15年前のB面 Decision Makingを振り返る　ver. 2025　ー安全な治療計画を立てたはずだったのにー」で，治療計画の組み立てと考え方をお話しをいただきました｡
先生の素晴らしい症例を基に､5年10年以上の予後の変化を拝見しました｡何故このようなアプローチにしたかを丁寧に説明してくださり､貴重な経験を共有いただきました｡受講した医局員一同とても感銘受けました｡
講演後の懇親会では､渡辺一騎先生もご参加してくださり､世界中の歯科界についてまで話題が広がりました。
平野先生の次回のご講演も、楽しみにしております！

The TU–HKU–FJMU Symposium 2025 brought together researchers and educators from  Tohoku University,  The University of Hong Kong, and  Fujian Medical University for a stimulating day of academic exchange at the FJMU School of Stomatology in Fuzhou.
The programme covered a wide range of scientific themes — including implantology, microbiology, biomaterials, geriatric dentistry, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and OMFS — offering a comprehensive view of ongoing developments across the dental sciences.
A notable moment for our department was Professor Yohei Hama’s invited lecture, which presented recent advancements in geriatric dentistry and opened meaningful discussion on oral function and aging. During the afternoon poster session, Xiong Linjing shared her current research and was honored to receive the Best Poster Presentation Award.
During the Lunch & Meet-a-Professor session, we had the opportunity to engage in academic conversations with FJMU undergraduate students as well as scholars from the participating universities. The discussions ranged from research design and clinical training to career development, making the session a valuable platform for cross-level and cross-institution dialogue.
Beyond the formal sessions, the symposium also fostered warm interactions among participants. After the event, Professor Hama and Xiong Linjing were graciously welcomed by our alumni, Liu Hengyi and Guo Ruoyan, who guided us on a memorable visit to Quanzhou, allowing us to experience the city’s rich cultural heritage.
The hospitality of FJMU and the collegial atmosphere throughout the event made the symposium both inspiring and deeply rewarding.

The 35th Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Magnetic Applications in Dentistry (JSMAD) was held on November 1st and 2nd at Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. This Meeting gathered many universities and researchers from all over the Japan. It was a useful event for exchanging ideas and discussing recent findings in magnetic applications in dentistry. Aung Soe Myint, third year Ph.D student from Institute of Science Tokyo was awarded "Young Excellent Presentation Award" on the second day of Poster Discussion Meeting.

当分野の金澤が，DDS（Digital Dentistry Society）の学術大会に登壇しました！
“The Digital Denture from A to Z”と題した講演は，チューリッヒ大学のProf. Murali Srinivasanとのクロストークセッション方式による初の試みでしたが，ヴェネチア映画祭の会場として有名なCinema Palaceでの華やかな会場の雰囲気が相まって，これまでにないatractiveなMurali & Manabuのコラボ講演となりましたまた，大会のGala Dinnerが講演会場の隣りにあるCasino Palaceで開催され，金澤はJapan BranchのNewアンバサダーとして各国のアンバサダーと共に紹介され，副賞もいただきました学術大会では，あらゆるジャンルの臨床&技工デジタルワークフロー，AI活用，ロボティクスやMRデバイスを用いた手術など，数多くのaggressiveな講演が見られ，最新のDigital Dentistryについて世界の動向を伺い知ることができました．Removable dentureについての講演はMurali & Manabuのみでした．
学会会場のあるリド島はリゾート地として有名とのことで，空港や市街地からは毎回ヴァポレット（水上バス）を使って移動しました．本当に何もない小さな島で，時が止まったかのような美しく穏やかな風景が楽しめました．歴史的なオペラ劇場を観たり，ヴェネチアングラスを生み出した人々の日常とセンスにも触れることができ，良い経験をさせていただきました.
