【学部学生】授業料免除・徴収猶予について（Tuition Exemption/Deferment）
・2025年度より、標準修業年限内であれば、申請結果は年度内有効となります。前期に通年で免除結果が出た学生は、後期の申請はできません。（家計急変の場合を除く）
If your period of study at Science Tokyo does not exceed the standard duration of study, the decision on your application for tuition exemption will be valid during that academic year.
Students who have received exemption results for a full year in the previous semester may not apply for a later semester. (except in the case of a sudden change in family finances)
※本制度における「家計急変」とは、家計支持者の死亡または被災等を意味します。前期で通年の判定結果を出されたが、後期申請前に家計急変があり、家計急変を踏まえて後期に改めて申請したい場合には、まずはメールでご連絡ください。
※“Sudden change in household circumstances” under this system refers to the death or disaster-related loss of the household breadwinner. If you received a full-year determination result in the first semester but experienced a sudden change in household circumstances before the second semester application period, and wish to reapply for the second semester based on this change, please contact us via email first.
・申請について：STEP１とSTEP２の両方の申請が完了しないと申請を受け付けることはできません。
For applications: applications cannot be accepted until both Step 1 and Step 2 have been completed.
「免除」と「猶予」の違い
Exemption: If you cannot pay fees within one semester.
「猶予」：数ヵ月後なら諸経費の支払いが可能な場合
Deferment: If you can pay fees after a few months.
重要：大学独自の免除制度 申請資格について
【2025年度以降に入学した学部学生へ】
「大学独自の授業料免除制度」は、「高等教育の修学支援新制度」の対象外である学生（国籍・在留資格に関する要件、または大学等に進学するまでの期間に関する要件を満たさない者）のみが申請することができます。
（※家計の経済状況に関する要件や学業成績・学修意欲に関する要件が理由で、「高等教育の修学支援新制度」の対象外の学生は、「大学独自の授業料免除制度」には申請できませんので、ご注意ください。）

【2024年度以前に入学した学部学生へ】
なお、「高等教育の修学支援新制度」の申し込み資格がある学生は、必ず「高等教育の修学支援新制度」を申し込んだ上で「大学独自の授業料免除制度」に申し込みを行ってください。「高等教育の修学支援新制度」の申し込み資格があるにもかかわらず申請しない学生は、「大学独自の授業料免除制度」の対象にはなりません。
また、「高等教育の修学支援新制度」に採用されている学生は、事前に「高等教育の修学支援新制度」の支援区分を各自確認してください。支援区分がⅠまたは多子世帯の表記がある場合は、大学独自の授業料免除を提出しなくても授業料は全額免除になります。

【入学料】入学前1年以内において、学資負担者が死亡し、又は本人若しくは学資負担者が風水害
等の災害を受けたこと等により納付が著しく困難であると認められる者
【授業料】授業料納期前6ヶ月以内（新入生の最初の納期についてのみ入学前1年以内）において、学資負担者が死亡し、又は本人若しくは学資負担者が風水害等の災害を受けたこと等により納付が著しく困難であると認められる者
３．前記に準ずる場合で、学長が相当の事由があると認めた場合

◆STEP１申請にあたっての注意事項 STEP1 Application Notes
・申請受付期間外にForms申請やBOXファイルアップロードシステムでの申請書提出があった場合、申請は無効とします。
・事前にForms申請をおこなうことができるのか、BOXで提出できるのか等、接続環境に問題がないのか十分に確認し、余裕をもって申請してください。
・通信環境等による提出遅延は一切認めません。
・Forms申請およびBOXファイルアップロードシステムでの書類提出完了には時間を要します。必ず時間に余裕をもって申請してください。
・Forms申請の「送信完了」とBOXファイルアップロードシステムにて「送信完了」をもって、STEP１の申請受付が完了します。最終申請締切日の17：00までに完了するように提出してください。
The application period is strictly enforced. Applications will not be accepted after the application deadline for any reason.
If an application is submitted via Forms or the BOX file upload system outside of the application period, the application will be considered invalid.
Please make sure that you are able to submit the application via Forms or a box, and make sure that there are no problems with the connection environment before submitting the application.
Delayed submissions due to communication problems will not be accepted.
It takes time to complete the Forms application and to submit documents via the BOX file upload system. Please be sure to submit your application well in advance.
The application for STEP1 will be completed when the “submission is completed” on the Forms application and the “submission is completed” on the BOX file upload system. Please submit your application by 17:00 on the final application deadline.

≪STEP２≫原本書類の提出方法・その他について
【ステップ２ 原本書類の提出方法について】
授業料免除の申請書類は窓口の提出BOXもしくは郵送で受け付けを行います。
※提出書類はホチキスやクリップで止めないでください。
※提出書類の返却・差し替えはできません。
（窓口の提出BOXで提出する場合）
期間中（土日祝除く）の9時から17時（※時間厳守）の間、湯島学生支援室に提出BOXを設けます。
大学に来る予定のある方はそちらも使用してください。封筒もしくはクリアファイルに入れてから投函してください。
※クリアファイルに入れて投函してください。
※窓口での質問は受け付けません。
（郵送の場合）
提出締切日消印有効で、下記住所まで必ず記録の残る方法で郵送してください。
【STEP２ How to submit original documents】
Application documents for tuition fee exemption will be accepted at the submission box at the counter or by post.
※Please do not staple or clip the submitted documents.
※Submitted documents cannot be returned or replaced.
（When submitting at the submission box at the counter）
During the period (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) between 9:00 and 17:00 at the Yushima A submission box will be available at the Student Support Office.
If you plan to come to the university, please use that box as well.
※Please submit your application in a clear file.
※No questions will be accepted at the counter.
（By post）
Please ensure that your application is postmarked by the deadline and sent to the address below by a recorded method.
