Essential Expertise for Clinical Dentistry 3 (EECD3) Report (2nd week)
In 2017, EECD3 is held in a summer intensive style: 3 lectures and one hands-on session (elective) in 2 weeks. The 2nd week started on August 29th with a hands-on titled“Direct resin core build-up method using custom core form” by Junior Associate Professor Wataru KOMADA (Department of Fixed Prosthodontics). Participants learned how to fabricate direct resin core, which has the possibility of increasing in demand not only due to its esthetic appearance but also for root fracture prevention purposes.
