Tsinghua University Delegation Visits TMDU

On August 22, 2024, Prof. Tomohiro Morio, Vice President of International Exchange at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), warmly welcomed Vice President Bin Yang of Tsinghua University during a short visit to TMDU.
Tsinghua University has been a longstanding partner of Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), marked by a successful joint graduate program, regular exchanges, and co-organized events. With the upcoming merger of Tokyo Tech and TMDU in October, Vice President Yang expressed his strong desire to further strengthen the network between Tsinghua University and the newly formed entity, Institute of Science Tokyo.
Following a session of productive discussions between the two Vice Presidents, Dr. Yasuhisa Fujii, Director of TMDU Hospital, provided an overview of the hospital's organization. The Tsinghua University delegation was then guided on a tour of Building C, the newest addition to TMDU Hospital's four-building complex. Building C, designed with the principles of “Change, Challenge, Communication, Critical Care” in mind, serves as TMDU’s cutting-edge center for advanced medical care.
The visit was marked by enthusiastic engagement from all participants, signaling a promising beginning to the next phase of the collaborative relationship initially established by Tokyo Tech with Tsinghua University.
