IFDC2017 Report (Day 3)
The morning session of day three of the IFDC 2017 (November 16th) was “Live lecture: Impression with border molding for mandibular complete denture” provided by Assistant Professor Manabu KANAZAWA with sub-instructor: Assistant Professor Yuriko KOMAGAMINE (Department of Gerodontology and Oral Rehabilitation).
Dr. Kanazawa gave a live lecture with a real edentulous patient concerning border-molding using both modeling plastic compound and silicone material, and final impression using silicone impression material for mandibular complete denture. This lecture finished successfully and must have helped the participants to fabricate better complete dentures for edentulous patients in their country.
