International Faculty Development Course - Endodontic Course for Vietnam AY2024 -

A one-day International Faculty Development Course took place successfully on March 12^th 2025.
Participants were able to receive up-to-date knowledge of endodontic clinical techniques, which might be beneficial for their future careers.

Lecture 1:
"Management of difficult endodontic cases in non-surgical treatment" by Dr. Kento Tazawa

Participants were able to learn strategies for managing calcified and curved canals and how to deal with ledge formation using clinical cases and experimental data. In addition, a new root canal filling method, hydraulic condensation technique, was introduced in this lecture.

Lecture 2:
"Effectiveness of endodontic microsurgery to difficult endodontic cases" by Dr. Keiichiro Maki

Participants were able to learn endodontic microsurgery techniques, precautions to be taken during surgery, and the latest advancements in surgical research during this lecture.
