- Advice on Effective Paraphrasing to Avoid Plagiarism -
In recent years, the academic world has been rocked by scandals related to plagiarism and the recycling of previously published text. Consequently, publishers have become more careful about checking manuscripts for duplicated text and authors now face the potential of having their submitted manuscripts returned or rejected without review.
When writing an academic manuscript, authors must rely on information presented in previous publications. However, training focused on the writing of academic manuscripts often does not adequately explain the steps authors must take to fully integrate cited material into their own text. This seminar provides practical advice based on Forte’s more than 30 years of service helping scientists write and publish manuscripts in major academic. By applying the lessons learned in this seminar, you will reduce the likelihood of experiencing issues with plagiarism when submitting to journals.
* The video of the seminar can be viewed for only 1 month.
