Admission Policy
The basic philosophy of our graduate school is to train professionals with inquiring minds for research and a problem-solving ability, who can proactively work on clinical-oriented research for challenges in nursing and biomedical laboratory sciences to demonstrate their research and practicing competencies based on global and academic views. Each doctoral program seeks those who fulfill the following criteria.
Nursing Advanced Sciences Course (have been started from 2014)
[Doctoral Program]
- The applicant has the capability and motivation to exercise professional knowledge and skills in nursing science, and contribute to the progress of research, enhancement of practice, and training successors in the future with global and academic views (5-year integrated education).
- The applicant aims to acquire a high level of professional knowledge and skills, as well as comprehensive judgment, performance, and high ethical standards in nursing science research, and to lead the frontlines of research, education, and clinical sites in the future (Nurse-Investigator Training Pathway Course).
- The applicant wishes to acquire clinical nursing experience, a high level of professional knowledge and skills, high ethical standards to solve highly-complicated issues in nursing by taking specialized education in nursing and practicing clinical-returning research, as well as to acquire a doctorate (CNS-D).
Joint Disaster Nursing Science Course (have been started from 2014)
[Doctoral Program]
- The applicant has the capability and motivation to acquire professional knowledge and skills in disaster nursing science, as well as contribute to excellent practice, education, and research in disaster nursing with global and academic views as a global leader in the future.
- The applicant has the capability and motivation to contribute to disaster relief with excellent practical skills and leadership as a highly advanced professional in disaster nursing.
- The applicant aims to contribute to people’s safety and comfort through comprehensive/creative businesses, excellent policy-planning and measures based on a high level of expertise in disaster nursing.
Biomedical Laboratory Sciences Course
[Masters Degree]
- The applicant aims to fully acquire specialized professional knowledge and skills in biomedical laboratory sciences and lead clinical sites as a highly advanced professional with comprehensive judgment, performance, and high ethical standards.
- The applicant has the basic capability and motivation to perform superior clinical-oriented research in biomedical laboratory sciences in the future with global and academic views.
- The applicant has the qualities and motivation to educate superior professionals and researchers in the future.
[Doctoral Program]
- The applicant has experience in researching biomedical laboratory sciences by practicing professional knowledge and skills, and aims to exercise leadership in clinical sites as a highly advanced professional with comprehensive judgment, performance, and high ethical standards.
- The applicant is in the course of achieving efforts in clinical-oriented research, and has the capability and motivation to contribute to the progress of research and enhancement of practice in biomedical laboratory sciences in the future from global and academic views.
- The applicant has the motivation and the sense of responsibility to play a guiding role in education to train highly advanced professionals and researchers in the future.
