Dear Esteemed Alumni,
Greetings from the Institute of Global Affairs, Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU).
We are all pleased to send you this 7th edition of the TMDU Alumni Newsletter, where we will introduce our clinical education course for world dental professionals.
Overview
TMDU will hold the International Faculty Development Course (IFDC) online with the purpose of introducing expertise in clinical dentistry at TMDU. This online version will consist of on-demand video lectures and LIVE sessions via Zoom, and be held from July 1– July 29, 2022 (18:00-19:55 JST, only July 1 will be from 18:00-18:55 JST). Purpose
This course for clinical, research, and dental education offers participants up-to-date dental clinical knowledge and cutting-edge techniques that are often publicized in journals or books. You will have the chance to actually engage in discussions with your peers and build networks. This course’s goal is twofold, to gain new dental knowledge and new approaches for future education/treatment/research, and to consider your clinical cases from a critical perspective.
Course Fee
Registration and course fees are JPY 60,000 (Registration fee (JPY 50,000) + Course fee (JPY 10,000)).
Please note that the registration fee is a one-time charge that covers all future IFDC. Those who joined EECD previously need not pay the registration fee.
Past event(s)
In April 2022, TMDU held the International Faculty Development Course (IFDC)-Maxillofacial Prosthetics- online. This course, which consisted of on-demand video lectures and 3 days of LIVE sessions via Zoom, gained positive feedback/satisfaction from all the participants.
