Institutional Research Support

This section provides information on Institutional Research Support. It includes methods for acquiring research funds as well as information related to a variety of experiments.

Information on grants-in-aid for scientific research provided by both the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and the Technology and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.


This includes information on public competition research funds provided by organizations such as the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Japan Science and Technology Agency. It also details various types of educational and research support provided by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.


Utilized prior to examinations for more permanent positions, a Tenure Tracking System is a system in which young researchers appointed through a fair and transparent selection process are given opportunities to acquire experience as independent researchers through fixed-term employment.
