当科所属であり、東京医科歯科大学大学院　医歯学総合研究科　国際健康推進医学分野　藤原研究室の博士課程在籍中の大畑めぐみ医師らが執筆した論文「脊椎手術患者における術前禁煙指導が術後入院日数と入院費用に及ぼす影響：プロペンシティスコアマッチングによる検証」がAnaesthesia Critical Care & Pain Medicine (IF5.5)に掲載され、またEditorial（https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38360405/）に紹介されました。
