Structural Physiology is a field of study that aims to understand the functions of membrane proteins, cells, organs and individuals within lipid membranes on the basis of their three-dimensional structures. Cellular and Structural Physiology aims to understand the functional structure of physiological functions, mainly in humans, using cryo-electron microscopy and other techniques, including not only single particle analysis but also intracellular interactions between molecules.
