The Program confers the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on students who attain the required credits, pass the thesis/dissertation defense and final examinations and can do all of the following.

所定の期間在学し、東京科学大学・チリ大学国際連携医学系専攻の開設科目を履修して、修了要件単位数を修得し、本プログラムが行う学位論文の審査及び最終試験（学位取得試験）に合格した以下の要件を満たした者に学位を授与する。

  Practice highly advanced medical surgery using the latest medical diagnostic equipment and therapeutic instruments in gastrointestinal surgery.

  消化管外科における最新の診断・治療機器を駆使した高度な外科医療を実践できること。

  Acquire cutting-edge medical techniques using upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and be able to practice advanced internal medicine.

  消化管内視鏡を用いた最新の技法を習得し、高度の内科診療を行うことができること。

  Acquire the experience and skills necessary to lead medical teams in clinical practice.

  臨床現場における医療チームのリーダーシップを取れるような経験・技能を有すること。

  Conduct research activities, which are backed up by academic knowledge, to obtain superior results from one’s research and disseminate it through publication.

  十分な学識に裏打ちされた研究活動を行い、満足できる研究成果をあげて論文発表していること。

  Have an expert grasp, through international research experience, of current conditions in the research environment and the associated research methods, and a grasp of related research problems, so that one is able to display the leadership and management capabilities needed for the research process.

  研究遂行過程に求められるチームとしてのリーダーシップ、マネージメント能力を発揮できるように、国際的な研究経験を通じて研究手法や研究環境の現状と問題点についてよく理解していること。

  Unify research results independently and disseminate them internationally by acquiring skills for future planning through debate, summarizing, conference presentation, and thesis examination.

  研究成果については討論、まとめ、学会発表、論文審査等を行って将来の計画と展望へのつなげ方を習得することにより、その内容を自己の意思の下に統括し、国際的に発信できること。

  Obtain a certificate in a medical specialty in Chile, for Chilean students who have a medical license in their country.

  チリ国医師資格を持つ学生については、チリ国専門医の資格を取得するための要件を備えていること。
