Presented two research results on WEB seminar of Medtec Japan

We have participated in Medtec Japan, one of the largest exhibitions in Asia related to the manufacture and design of medical equipment, as a project to promote the social implementation of research results. This year, we introduced two topics on WEB seminar.

The WEB seminar was held on June 30, 2022 (Thursday). There were 156 registered participants. The number of participants from private companies reached 123, 79% of the total, and it seems that this seminar was suitable for social implementation of research results.

At the seminar, Ryo Matsumoto, a research professor at the Institute of Biomaterials Engineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, presented "The forefront of the development of artificial pancreas by just sticking boronate gel”. And Kotaro Tadano, associate professor at the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology gave a lecture titled "Development of an Endoscope Holding Robot, which is the Third Hand of the Operator". These two themes have been proceeded under university-launched ventures. These were meaningful lectures for private companies to cooperate the academic researches. The real exhibition was already held on April 20-22. For details, please see the news-column of home-page of RCBE.
