Yuriko Matsumiya
As of October, 2020
My name is Yuriko Matsumiya and I am a second generation student at the University of Chile and TMDU Joint Degree Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences with mention of a medical specialty.
As part of my fourth-year enrollment in this program, I am currently conducting graduate studies while performing surgery and clinical work as a colorectal surgeon.
Up to the present day, I have learned clinical knowledge and technique, as well as a vast understanding on cell biology related to basic research.
From now on, I would like to exchange opinions with an international perspective in cutting-edge research and clinical practice for cancer.

現在、本プログラムの在学４年目に入り、大腸肛門外科医として手術や臨床業務を行いながら大学院研究を進めております。
現在までに、臨床知識や技術とともに、基礎研究に関わる細胞生物学的知識を学んできました。
今後、癌に対する最先端の研究・診療においても国際的視野を持って意見交換をしていけたらと考えています。
