As a student in the first generation of the joint degree program (JDP) in Orthodontics between Chulalongkorn University and Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly Tokyo Medical and Dental University), I was very excited to join this program. Being part of this first group gave me a great chance to learn from both Thailand and Japan and experience the best of both countries.
During my PhD, I gained invaluable experiences from both sides. In Japan, I was able to conduct my research in well-equipped facilities with advanced technology, while in Thailand, I had the opportunity to treat complex orthodontic cases from start to finish. The professors from both universities were very helpful and always guided me. This journey changed the way I work and taught me how to think more systematically with a strong academic and clinical foundation.
Today, I am a full-time faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University. The most important thing I gained from this program is the confidence I have now, for both research and clinical practice. I am proud to be a part of this program, and it continues to help me grow as a lecturer, a researcher and an orthodontist.
チュラロンコーン大学と東京理科大学（旧東京医科歯科大学）が共同で実施する矯正歯科の共同学位プログラム（JDP）の第一期生として、このプログラムに参加できることに大変胸を躍らせました。この第一期生の一員となったことで、タイと日本の双方から学び、両国の優れた点を体験する絶好の機会を得ることができました。
博士課程在籍中、私は両国でかけがえのない経験を積むことができました。日本では、最先端の技術を備えた充実した施設で研究を行うことができ、タイでは、複雑な矯正歯科症例を最初から最後まで治療する機会を得ました。両大学の教授陣は大変親切で、常に私を導いてくださいました。この経験は私の働き方を変え、強固な学術的・臨床的基盤に基づいて、より体系的に考える方法を教えてくれました。
現在、私はチュラロンコーン大学歯学部矯正歯科の専任教員を務めています。このプログラムから得た最も重要なものは、研究と臨床の両面において今私が持っている自信です。このプログラムの一員であることを誇りに思っており、講師、研究者、そして矯正歯科医として成長し続けるための支えとなっています。
