Our research on mental and psychiatric disorders aims to bring together individuals from diverse research fields, such as molecules, genes, cells, brain circuits, psychology and behavior, and populations. Therefore, our department is tackling various themes with different approaches. Our goals also vary and include obtaining a more detailed understanding of disease states, developing new diagnoses and treatments, and conducting research on prevention. However, there are obstacles to solving problems and implementing methods in our department alone. Therefore, our research is being conducted in collaboration with individuals from various specialties as well as industry, government, and academia.
