The Career Counseling Office
The Career Counseling Office has been open since July 6, 2009. We aim
to improve our counseling system while listening to the voices of everyone who
visits our office. Please drop by for advice!
Types of Support
- Counseling on how to coordinate research or work with home duties, child rearing and care-giving
- Counseling on concerns over continuing research
- Counseling on future career paths
- Counseling on continuing work after pregnancy and childbirth or after maternity leave
- Counseling on career and life plans
- Counseling on concerns about the workplace (research institutes, etc.)
- Counseling on future life patterns and values including individual goals
- Counseling on personal relationships on campus
- Counseling when you don’t know where else to go
- Counseling on concerns over workplaces with few women employees
- When you need someone to listen
We also make appropriate referrals depending on the content of your consultation and wishes. Feel free to drop by for a consultation.
Applicable Persons
Teaching staff (including part-time positions and special appointments), medical staff, undergraduate students, graduate students (both male and female) at Tokyo Medical and Dental University
Counseling System
As a general rule, we provide consultations by appointment only. Please contact us with your preferred date and time and we will contact you back to confirm your consultation.
Additionally, you may drop by without an appointment and we will provide counseling if our staff are available.
