To be an international student in Orthodontic Science,
Tokyo Medical and Dental University

You need to pass the following 4 steps to be an international student in Orthodontic Science, Tokyo Medical and Dental University.

1. Apply for the JAPANESE GOVERNMENT (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) SCHOLARSHIP(RESEARCH STUDENTS) (JGS-RS)  through the Japanese legation in your country, or any governmental scholarships in your country (GS) covered during your course (Ph.D course: more than 4 years; Research student: more than 1 year)

 
Please contact the Japanese legation in your country.
After you pass the first selection of JGS-RS by the Japanese legation or GS
 

2. Selection using following application documents in Orthodontic Science, TMDU.
Please send us following documents.

  1. Your curriculum vitae (CV)
  2. All the application documents for JGS-RS or GS submitted to the Japanese legation or your government including your research plan, the academic transcript of the last university attended, and recommendation from the principal or the dean of the last university attended

 
After you pass the selection using application documents
 

3. Interview will be held by the staff in Orthodontic Science, TMDU, if possible


After you pass the interview by the staff in Orthodontic Science, TMDU, we will send you an official “letter of acceptance” using the format for JGS-RS or GS
 

4. Please contact the Japanese legation in your country with the “letter of acceptance”.


Final selection will be performed by the Japanese legation in your country.
