Collaboration with Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science by Presenting at the 3rd International Symposium

On January 13-14, 2019, Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science, a moderate collaborative partner, hold the third international symposium titled "The Cooperative wisdom among communities for disaster preparedness and response ". Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science and Research Center for Biomedical Engineering (RCBE) concluded mutual exchange with agreement on gradual cooperation on March 22, 2018.

At the symposium, 13 orals and 39 posters were presented including a special lecture by Dr. Zhanat Carr of WHO. Wide range of research scopes including the impact of nuclear accident and radiation disorder on social, patient mental and others were actively discussed.

Professor Miyahara and Assistant Professor Tabata of Tokyo Medical and Dental University, both of them attended from RCBE, have outlined the RCBE activities and the research results on the state measurement of dental caries often found to be exacerbated by radiation therapy.
