Medtec Japan Webinar by two excellent researchers of RCBE

As a project to promote the social implementation of our research results, we have participated in Medtec Japan, one of Asia's largest exhibitions on the manufacture and design of medical devices. This year, we introduced the research achievements through real exhibitions and web seminars.

The webinar was held on Thursday, June 6, 2023. There were 249 registrants. There were 181 participants from private companies, 73% of the total, and this shows the seminar is suitable for social implementation of research results.

At the seminar, Assistant Professor Takaaki Sugino of the Institute of Biomaterials and Bioengineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Professor Kentaro Nakamura of the Laboratory for Future Interdisciplinary Research of Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology gave the lectures on "Surgery-policy decision supported by AI" and "Medical measurements using light and ultrasound", respectively. Both of them introduced part of their cutting-edge and research activities, and the content of the lectures were very meaningful for corporate engineers.
