RCBE presented real devices and research results at Medtec Japan

RCBE have participated in Medtec Japan, one of the largest exhibitions in Asia related to the manufacture and design of medical devices, for promoting the social implementation of recent research results. The number of exhibitors this time was 441 (292 last year), and the total number of visitors for the three days was 14,500, about 2,000 above the previous year.

We resumed real exhibitions from the year before last, and this year exhibited at 2 themes from Shizuoka University and 8 themes from Hiroshima University. The exhibition themes of each institute are is as follows.

■ Shizuoka University
Aoki Lab: Energy discriminating X-ray flat panel detector
Kawahito Lab: Near-infrared lock-in camera system for non-contact bio-signal monitoring

■ Hiroshima University
Teramoto Lab: Noise evaluation and two-dimensional sensing of transistors using LSI
Kuroki Lab: Construction of SiC extreme environment electronics and application to particle beam medicine
Kameda Lab: Dental remote control chair system for infectious diseases
Goto Lab: Research on information processing devices using electron spins
Nakashima Lab: Alq3 mixed electron beam resist for nanoscale organic EL biosensors
Koide Lab: Development of colorectal cancer diagnosis support system using machine learning using CNN features as feature extraction, development of image analysis method using AI to elucidate sweating abnormalities in allergic skin diseases
Specially Appointed Associate Professor Tabei: Explanation of ARIM Explanation of ARIM (Advanced Materials Research Infrastructure)

Other members of RCBE, Tokyo Institute of Technology and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, are scheduled to give lectures at the Medtec Webinar on June 6.
