Seminar on bio-sensor for young researchers was held at TMDU

As an activity of RCBE (Research Center for Biomedical Engineering), the seminar of bio-sensor has been arranged for young researchers. This year, the seminar was held from August 26th to 29th at the Biomaterial Engineering Laboratory, Tokyo Medical and Dental University. The RCBE paid all costs for seminars, such as transportation and accommodation fees.

The 4 researchers joined this year, from Osaka Prefecture University, Tokyo Institute of Technology and Hiroshima University. In the seminar, the principle of ion sensitive field effect transistor was lectured in the first day. The attendances fabricated the Ag / AgCl electrodes, then analyzed the electrical data, and evaluated the enzymatic reactions. The evaluation of wet devices needs the experience of real experiments so that the attendances had good opportunities to acquire the knowledge and experience of electrochemical system.

Hiroshima university is also holding the seminar on CMOS integration. RCBE continues to holding the seminars for young researchers to expand the research field of bio-medical engineering.
