About the course
School of Oral Health Care Sciences was established
in 2004. At the same time, section of Oral and Maxillofacial Biology was
founded in the school.
In this section, the education and research
are placed
emphasis on anatomy and pathology. Anatomy and histology are very important to
understand the structure and function of human body. In addition to it, a new
idea is adopted flexibly, and it wants to develop as an education, research
field which is suitable for the 21st century.

Structure and Function of Human Body. (Years 1 and 2)
Contents:
anatomy, histology, physiology,
embryology, oral anatomy, oral histology, oral physiology.
Mechanism and Defense against Infection. (Year 2)
Contents:
pathology, immunology, microbiology,
oral pathology.
Basic Practice of Oral Health Care Science. (Year 2)
Contents: the practices of the
basic sciences.
English for Oral Health Care Science. (Year 2)
Contents: reading, writing.
Oral Health Care Clinical Training. (Years 3 and 4)
Contents:
the practice in the dental hospital (oral cleaning programs).
Graduation thesis. (Year 4)
