Internships

Global Linkage Practicum I and II (2 credits each)

Through internships at international enterprises in Japan and abroad, participants spend time at workplaces that are part of international society. They learn first-hand about how international society operates, what it desires, real-time trends in international society and the human resources that are desired. Based on direct case study experiences in this course, through the application and crystallization of their research and language skills, which are the core abilities that they gained in the education course of the School of Biomedical Science, the participants gain real-world abilities that can be used in the international business sector.

Results of 2007 academic year internships

In the 2007 academic year, three Ph.D. course students went to the USA and the UK for international internships. On May 7, 2008 (Tuesday), we will hold a conference for reports of their results.

?

This result reporting conference will be conducted as one part of the Global Linkage Strategy Advanced Course. Those students who completed international internships will give their presentations as a continuing part of the guidance provided in this course. By actively creating a situation in which their experiences can be shared with those students who could not take part in this program in 2007 and those students who are considering participating in the future, we provide opportunities for these students to gain insights about their own future activities on the international stage. Through this program, our aim is to increase greatly their motivations to become active in international society.
