Seminar in Guilin, China held in October, 2013

NSFC A3 Foresight Program 2013 Seminar
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date October 26-29, 2013
Venue Guilin Ronghu Lake Hotel

Summary

NSFC A3 Foresight Program 2013 Seminar was held on October 26-29, 2013 at Guilin Ronghu Lake Hotel, Guilin, China. This meeting highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 34 scientists (16 senior and 18 junior) from three nations attended this meeting. On the first day, recent findings in three countries were presented by 9 senior and 9 junior scientists. On the second day, A3 research summary was presented by 4 senior members, and further cooperation network was discussed. During this meeting, several new collaborative research plans were proposed, and all of them were strongly supported by participants. Thus we hope that new cooperation network will be built soon by collaboration of researchers in three nations.
