14th Surugadai International Symposium & Joint Usage/Research Program of Medical Research Institute International Symposium (2015.11.26 )

Medical Research Institute Tokyo Medical and Dental University

The Medical Research Institute (MRI) of Tokyo Medical and Dental University is focusing on tackling issues in medical science with a hope to understand the basic mechanism of pathogenesis of intractable diseases and further develop measures to diagnose and treat patients.

Since 2002, MRI has organized the "Surugadai International Symposium" to bring together the top researchers around the world to discuss the most advanced research in the field of medical science and biological science.

This year, under the theme of "BIG-DATA DRIVEN BIOLOGICAL & MEDICAL SCIENCES", the symposium aims to share, discuss, and explore the most cutting-edge results and ideas, and new directions to tackle the pathogenesis of intractable diseases.

From 2010, MRI has been recognized as a "Joint Usage/Research Program" by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and we have co-hosted the "Joint Usage/Research Program of Medical Research Institute International Symposium" ever since.

We welcome everyone who is interested in joining us in our endeavor to attend.Together we will seek for new clues towards curing patients with intractable diseases by unraveling the great mystery of diseases and nature.
