Message from the President
Welcome to the Tokyo Medical and Dental University Hospital.
We are pleased to achieve our goal to reform our financial status based on the Mid-Term Plan of the university. During the process, we need to entirely renovate our hospital system which we never tried before. I would like to congratulate all faculties and staff who worked hard to accomplish this mission.
First, we qualitatively enhanced the services provided at the hospital by installing skillful administrative personnel. We also devoted ourselves to improve the quality of medical care in the hospital by formulating “composite team” to deal with complicated cases. These improvements significantly help our hospital to provide better medical care to our patients.
Secondly, we extended our effort to accept referral patients without regional limitation, enhanced our ER Department to provide safer and higher level medical care. During renovation of our hospital campus, we installed the cutting-edge medical equipments such as a PET scanner. The elevator to the subway Ochanomizu Station was also built to help patients easily access to the hospital. We expanded the entranceway for vehicles leading into ER Department. Taken together, we believe that this renovation was necessary to respond even better to our aging society. To accommodate our patients need, spacious special suites are available at the top of our hospital. We also opened a 24-hour drugstore at the lobby of the hospital. Delivery of daily amenities is also available to inpatients room.
We name this year “year of new reforms and challenges” and commit ourselves to do our best to offer best medical care and treatment.
