11th Japan-Korea-China Colorectal Cancer Symposium in Tokyo 2008

Announcement
  Toichiro Takizawa, M.D., Ph.D.
President, the 11th Japan-Korea-China Colorectal Cancer Symposium
Professor, Department of Pathophysiology, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Tokyo, Japan

The 11th Japan-Korea-China Colorectal Cancer Symposium will be held on
4th and 5th of December 2008 in Tokyo.

We would like to inform you that
Dr. Keiichi Takahashi (Director of Colorectal surgery of Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital)
will be chairman of this symposium instead of
Dr. Toichiro Takizawa (Tolyo Medical and Dental University).
The main reasons for the above change are as follows.

    1) It will be difficult to get funds from The Union of the Pharmaceutical Association.
    2) It will have more possibility and be practical to negotiate in getting funds from
each Pharmaceutical company and Medical Equipment company.
    3) Dr. Takizawa Toichiro is an expert in Pathology and a Pathologic doctor
so it would not be possible to negotiate with companies.
    4) Dr, Keiichi Takahashi is a surgeon and will find it easier to negotiate with companies.

We will inform you about the change of our chaiman mainly because of the funding issue.
We would appreciate your understanding for the above.

The symposium will be held in Tokyo Metropolitan Komagome Hospital.
And we will book the Hotel Garden Palace for you all.
