Left picture: Current landscap view from the Hiziri-bashi bridge. The left-hand side is the JR Ochanomizu Station. You can see the Kanda river between Ochanomizu St and Tokyo Medical & Dental University.

Right fine art: A landscape view form the Mansei-bashi bridge to Ochanomizu area in the Edo era. This Ukiyo-e, Japanese woodblock print, was painted by Hokujyu Shotei (1763?-1824), the number one disciple of Hokusai Katsushika who was a big-name Ukiyo-e painter.
