The Meguro Parasitogical Museum houses precious collections: fieldnotes and original manuscripts written by Satyu Yamaguti, a well-known parasitologist in the world.

And the dog's lung infected with Paragonimus westermani is the another collection. The dog was inoculated the metacercariae collected in Taiwan by Dr. Khoan Nakagawa in 1914. The metacercariae were found from the crab in a small river at the northern part of Taiwan.
