Presented at Meeting of Joint Research Center for Materials and Devices

On July 1 and 2, 2019, 9th meeting of Joint Research Center for Materials and Devices was held at the Senri Life Science Center (Osaka). Three joint research centers for Biomedical and Dental Engineering, Materials and Devices and Radiation Disaster Medical Science have been contracted gentle agreements for collaboration on March 22, 2018.

The Joint Research Center for Materials and Devices are consisted from five research institutes, Research Institute of Electronic Science (Hokkaido University), Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (Tohoku University), Laboratory of Chemistry and Life Science Institute of Innovative Research (Tokyo Institute of Technology), Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research (Osaka University) and Institute for Materials Chemistry and Engineering (Kyushu University). The researchers of these five institutes were get together and discussed their latest results. There were 12 oral presentations and 97 posters. Two posters were presented from this center; MEMS application of highly biocompatible thick-film magnet and introduction of Research Center for Biomedical Engineering by Prof. Nakano of Nagasaki University and Prof. Miyauchi of Tokyo Medical and Dental University, respectively. Prof. Tashiro and Dr. Takedate also presented the introduction of Research Center for Radiation Disaster Medical Science by oral and poster presentations. We will continue to promote collaboration among these three centers.
