About Our Department |
Department of Biocybernetics has originated from the
Division of Bicybernetics, Institute for Medical and dental Engieering, which
was founded in 1972. Since then, in collaboration with a number of domestic and
foreign researchers of various fields, we have conducted multidisciplinary and
integrative studies on sleep-promoting substances and brain mechanisms involved
in the regulation of sleep. We are proud to have contributed much to the
development of modern sleep science and the enlightenment for the general
public.
This Department has been authorized as one of the best
sleep research centers in the world , i.e. a member of the Consotium of Sleep
Training Laboratories, by the World Federation of Sleep Research Societies.
Many ambitious young researchers have participated in the research projects at
this Department.
