Meeting in Sapporo, Japan held in March, 2013

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2013 Meeting
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date March 8-11, 2013
Venue Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo

Summary

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2013 Meeting was held on March 8-11, 2013 in Sapporo, Japan. This meeting highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 35 scientists (18 senior and 17 junior) from three nations attended this meeting. One senior speaker made a presentation about his study for 30 minutes. Each of 12 junior speakers was given for 20 minutes in presentation and discussion followed on further studies. During this meeting, several new collaborative research plans were proposed, and all of them were strongly supported by participants. Thus we hope that new results will be obtained soon by collaboration of researchers in three nations.
