Meeting in Nara, Japan held in February, 2012

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2012 Meeting
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date February 17-20, 2012
Venue Hotel Nikko Nara and Hotel Sunroute Nara

Summary

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2012 Meeting was held on February 17-20, 2012 in Nara, Japan. This meeting highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 30 scientists (15 senior and 15 junior) from three nations attended this meeting. Each of 9 junior speakers was given for 15 minutes in presentation and discussion followed on further studies. During this meeting, several new collaborative research plans were proposed, and all of them were strongly supported by participants. Thus we hope that new results will be obtained soon by collaboration of researchers in three nations.
