Seminar in Kyoto, Japan held in March, 2014

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2014 Seminar
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date March 14-17, 2014
Venue ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto Hotel

Summary

JSPS A3 Foresight Program 2014 Seminar was held on March 14-17, 2014 at ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto Hotel, Kyoto, Japan. This seminar highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 40 scientists (18 senior and 22 junior) from three nations attended this seminar. One senior speaker made a presentation about his study for 30 minutes. Each of 20 junior speakers was given for 20 minutes in presentation and discussion followed on further studies. During this seminar, several new collaborative research plans were proposed, and all of them were strongly supported by participants. Thus we hope that new results will be obtained soon by collaboration of researchers in three nations.
