Meeting in Buyeo, Korea held in July, 2013

NRF A3 Foresight Program 2013 Seminar
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date July 6-9, 2013
Venue Lotte Buyeo Resort

Summary

NRF A3 Foresight Program 2013 Meeting was held on July 6-9, 2013 at Lotte Buyeo Resort, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea. This seminar highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 40 scientists (15 senior and 25 young) from three nations attended this meeting. Each of 17 young speakers was given for 20 minutes in presentation and discussion followed on further studies. During this meeting, several new collaborative research plans were proposed, and all of them were strongly supported by participants. Thus we hope that new results will be obtained soon by collaboration of researchers in three nations.
