Meeting in Busan, Korea held in June, 2012

NRF A3 Foresight Program 2012 Meeting
-Epigenetic Signatures in Gastric Carcinogenesis-

Date June 28-July 1, 2012
Venue Seaclound Hotel

Summary

NRF A3 Foresight Program 2012 Meeting was held on June28-July1, 2012 at Seaclound Hotel, Haeundae, Busan, Korea. This meeting highlighted epigenetic signatures in gastric carcinogenesis via molecular and epidemiological analyses. A total of 33 scientists (13 senior and 20 junior) from three nations attended this meeting. Twelve junior speakers presented their results, and senior scientists summarized their progress made in R1-R4 of A3 Program in these 3 years (August 2009 to July 2012). During this meeting, new collaborative research plans were proposed, and were discussed by participants. We thus hope that new collaborations will start soon to obtain good results in this program.
